Globe at Home Prepaid Wi-Fi modem

Globe at Home Prepaid Wi-Fi is a broadband prepaid internet by Globe Telecom, it uses a Huawei B310As-938 modem that allows to connect to multiple devices. There is a new modem model Tozed ZLT-S10G with two external antennas. Functions are just the same and speed coverage better than pocket a Wi-Fi.

Globe modem has loaded with Globe LTE prepaid SIM and comes with free 10GB of data upon activation. The recent price tag of new Globe at Home prepaid Wi-Fi is P 999.00. You may avail this product in all Globe business centers and retail stores nationwide. Free delivery if you avail it online on their website.

Globe at Home is not a portable Wi-Fi Router, it comes with a separate power adapter. The modem can be configured by app or browser.

Where to place the modem

Place the modem in a flat surface with good ventilation. You may install the modem near the window to received best cellular signal. Plug the power charger to 220V ~ and wait to light up all LED indicators except Ethernet or LAN indicator.

How to connect your devices

Ensure that the modem is powered up and Wi-Fi indicator is ready. Enable Wi-Fi in your mobile and laptop devices. Find the Globe at Home SSID and Passkey at the back of your modem. Scan Wi-Fi network from your device, select the SSID or Wi-Fi name and tap connect. Type the default Passkey or password when prompted.

You can also use the Ethernet port at the back. Get the UTP Straight through cable. Plug from your Computer’s Ethernet port to Globe at Home modem. Please set your LAN adapter to obtain IP address automatically.

What is Globe at Home app

Download Globe at Home app on App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR code at the back of your modem. Install the app on your smartphone and launch to begin.

Register the SIM card number that can be found at the back of your modem. Secure the app by adding strong PIN. Proceed to Globe at Home dashboard to check current data balance and modem status.

Because there is no Globe at Home app for PC, you can access the modem dashboard by using web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari.

How to activate free data

After successful installation of Globe at Home app and registration of prepaid Wi-Fi number you should get an ACTIVATE NOW link in the Globe at Home app dashboard. Click it to activate the free 10GB data valid for 7 days. You will receive a notification that the request has been processed. Check the dashboard remaining data balance.

How to change Globe Wi-Fi Password

You can change Wi-Fi password by visiting Globe modem dashboard. Once logged in, click Wi-Fi Settings tab, then type in the new SSID or Wi-Fi name and WPA Preshared key or Wi-Fi password. Click Apply to save and connect your device again.

How to hard reset the Globe at Home modem?

If you can’t login, or unable to get internet connection, you can hard reset the modem.

Find the reset button at the back, look for a pin that can fit in it, then press the reset button for at least 10 seconds. All LED indicators will shut off. Wait until it restarts or reboot.

How to reload Globe at Home Prepaid Wi-Fi?

There will be a notification from the app and dashboard if you run out of data . All you have to do is load up and register. There are many ways to register HomeSURF data promos.

Open Globe at Home app → Click + Get more data in the Dashboard → select HomeSurf promo from the list → Confirm

Using *143#

Dial *143# in your smartphone, Choose My Account → Globe at Home Prepaid Wi-Fi → 11 digit prepaid Wi-Fi number → Get data → Share a promo without PIN → HomeSurf Promo → Confirm


Open GCash app → enter PIN → Buy Load → 11 digit prepaid Wi-Fi number → Broadband → HomeSurf promo → Confirm


You may reload HomeSURF promo in the nearest AutoLoadMax station, just choose the promo and give your Prepaid Wi-Fi number.

Basic Troubleshooting

Like any other modem, you may experience slow internet speed to zero internet connection when using Globe at Home prepaid Wi-Fi. To solve this issue, you need to do the basic troubleshooting steps.

Data Subscription

When you run out of data, you wont get internet connection obviously. Ensure that you have enough data balance. You will be charge P 5 per 15 minutes in regular web browsing without data promo.

Cellular Signal Strength

Globe modem uses LTE / 4G / HSDPA or 3G cellular network signal to get the optimum speed. Check the signal strength in the LED indicator. Blue is good, Red light means poor signal, you need to relocate your modem. Place your modem near windows to improve signal strength. You can also check signal strength using the web browser dashboard and app.

Wireless Signal

Modem transmits data packets omnidirectional. Concrete walls may affect the strength of Wi-Fi signal, hence you will get a slower internet connection. If possible, position the modem within reach of cellular signal and at higher place at the center of the house.

    1. As advised by Globe from their website, it is not recommended to change SIM card of the Globe at Home modem. However, any Globe LTE SIM should work, as long as it has an active data plan subscription or Data promo registered in it.

  1. sir the signal button is blinking alternately red and then blue and when i connect it says that connected no internet access I just loaded it with homesurf 199. other wifi in the office are functioning well. what do you think is the problem. thank you

    1. Please try to reset your modem. Unplug the modem, press and hold reset button, re-plug again then wait until light indicator goes off, then release. Wait a minute, then unplug your modem. Power on after 1 minute. Check the signal indicator again.

      Ensure that the modem can received good cellular signal from outside. Place the modem near the window and observe changes in signal strength.

  3. My prepaid subscription expired at about 9:00 a.m. today, with 41 GB left. I was busy with home chores and realized that it was 9:15 a.m., so I have to reload again PhP199. My 41 GB balance was gone. My initial subscription was uploaded at about 11 a.m.; my subsequent re-load was done much earlier. It will be best to issue reminder on my cellphone, since you have the number on your system, to remind me of upcoming expiration of my prepaid load. Trust you would consider my suggestion. Thanks.
